He offers courses in marketing, accounting, business law etc. Our goal this year is to expand our DECA program at AHS. We are planning on having fundraisers throughout the year to help out our Program. Some of the activities that you do if you are involved in the DECA program include
- A leadership lab at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells
-Districts ( UW-Stout) (A competion for Marketing stud
ents to compete and test their knowledge in their own categories that they chose , if anyone does good enough they move on to state, and then nationals)
-Monthly activities (bowling, movies, splashland etc.)
-A large group trip at the end of the year (Valleyfair?)
DECA is not only a fun group to be a part of, it also looks very good on college applications and job applications, and you make a lot of new friends! If you or anyone you know is interested in joining DECA please feel free to stop in and talk to Mr. Murray, or any of the officers!
