Tucker First UMC is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities will include coordinating and maintaining membership information, sending and receiving church communications, maintaining facility/room reservations, maintaining the church calendar, and supervision of part-time volunteer receptionists. Enjoyed the National PAUMCS Conference at Lake Junaluska. The theme was Rest-Renew-Restore and the lake was a great place to do just that as we learned about the importance of Sabbath in our lives, along with a lot of other relevant information to help us in our jobs.

Our numbers were small but we had a great one day conference this year. Thanks to our host church, Salem UMC, and Annette Annette Ingram Harmon. Vicki Coulter did a great job of teaching us how to find Joy in the Journey. Next year’s Georgia conference will be held at Epworth by the Sea.
