The One Big Beautiful Bill, among other provisions, provides for the creation of "Trump Accounts' for children under the age of 18. Beginning in 2026, parents may open a Trump Account for their child(ren). Trump accounts are a new type of tax-advantaged savings account administered by banks and other financial institutions.

Under a pilot program, for US citizens born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, the federal government will contribute $1,000 per child into every eligible Trump account. You must request the pilot contribution when you file Form 4547.

You can sign up for a Trump account when you file your 2025 income tax return by using Form 4547; or you can file Form 4547 separately if you have already filed for 2025.

Note: contributions cannot be made to the accounts until July 4, 2026.

She would love nothing more than a birthday phone call this week! And you know she won't ever turn down a coffee drink or treat (calling out her brother, Logan🤣).

It's our queen of versatilities' workiversary. Danica juggles all of life (not literally right now but give her a few weeks and she will) while working hard and possibly single handedly (pun) supporting most of the local coffee shops. She is champion of the puzzles and the leader of most of the outrageous fun at work. This is our BIG AND LOUD THANK YOU TO DANICA!
