I know we’ve all heard the saying, “All money ain’t good money!” Please let that resonate with you as you file your return.

❌Do NOT include credits, deductions, expenses , etc that you are unable to prove or have no evidence

❌Do NOT allow your preparer to include forms, lines, credits, etc. that you are unaware of or have no clue about

✅ALWAYS KNOW WHATS ON YOUR RETURN✅

✅Talk It Out With Your Preparer, they’ll listen✅

Although, there are other DOs and DONTs these are really important to ensure that you stay compliant with the IRS and SAVE YOURSELF the financial strain, unnecessary loss of time, and all of the other headaches that comes with playing with “the folks!”

❓❓ Are you Prepared❓❓

February 12th is closer than you think!!! Although the IRS may not be processing returns at this time, doesnt mean you shouldnt prepare to file or file and apply for the advance.

If you haven't already, START a recordkeeping system!
Keep your records and documents safely stored for at least 3 years.

Here are a few of the documents you should include in your file and bring with you to ensure a complete and accurate tax return:

✅ 2019 Tax Return (any previous years)

✅Form W-2 from ALL Employers

✅Form 1095-A from the marketplace for those claiming the premium credit

✅Form 1099-NEC, Non Employee Compensation

✅Notice 1444 Your Economic Impact Payment

✅Any documents from gig economy and virtual currency earnings

✅Any documents you think are necessary in assisting us with filing an accurate return
