Have you moved recently? Make sure your mailing address is up to date with the IRS!

You don't want important IRS notices or tax correspondence going to your old address. Keeping your information current can help you avoid missing important mail. 📬

✅ Moved recently? Update your address with the IRS.

✅ Double-check your apartment number, street address, city, state, and ZIP code.

✅ Don't forget to update your address with the IRS even if you've already notified the post office.

📌 Individuals can use Form 8822 to report a change of home mailing address. Businesses generally use Form 8822-B for business address changes. The IRS says processing can take 4–6 weeks.
