What would you do with more time away from the books?

For Andre S. of Simmons HVAC, it meant trading Sunday bookkeeping for coaching his kid’s team.
“I got 15 hours of my week back. I used to do books on Sundays. Now I coach my kid’s team.”

Month-to-month bookkeeping should give you more than a categorized bank feed.

BooXkeeping's monthly scope includes transaction capture and categorization, bank and card reconciliation, the three core financial reports, and a plain-English recap. Exact scope still follows the engagement.

The work was finished in September. The client paid in October. Which month shows the income?

Cash and accrual approaches answer that timing question differently. The right method depends on your business, reporting needs, and applicable tax rules.

Keep the invoice, work date, and payment connected. Then ask your bookkeeper and tax professional which basis applies to each report.

The question you almost do not ask is often the one holding up the books.

Grace A. of Adeyemi Consulting described her BooXkeeping experience as responsive and human, adding that the team never made her feel diminished for asking a question. That is her individual experience, not a promise of results.

$5,000 at the POS. $4,855 in the bank. The $145 gap belongs in the books.

Match the POS activity to the processor report. Record the fee separately. Then reconcile the net deposit. Real settlements may also include refunds, tips, taxes, adjustments, or timing differences.

If bookkeeping still feels like a pile of unrelated tasks, start by defining the scope.

Outsourced support may cover transaction recording, reconciliations, payables, receivables, invoicing, payroll reporting, financial statements, and software support. The right mix depends on the business, the systems already in place, and who owns each handoff.

You stay in the driver's seat. The bookkeeping partner takes responsibility for the recurring work you agree on and keeps the open questions visible.

Cash-flow pressure is not always announced by one dramatic number.

Sometimes it shows up as a surprising bank balance. Sometimes invoice follow-up starts too late. Sometimes an important decision sits still because the latest report is already out of date.

The first step is visibility: reconcile the accounts, review what customers owe, and map the bills, payroll, and commitments ahead. Then the owner can ask better questions with current information.

Clearer books can give an owner a better place to start the next decision.

Our client David K., a CPA and attorney, described his individual experience with the service: “Since BooXkeeping took over six years ago, I haven’t had to think about bookkeeping once. It’s like a Swiss watch.”

That is one client’s experience with BooXkeeping. The practical question for your business is simpler: are the books current enough to support the next conversation?
