Not just a rumor!

With over 11,000 clients Bench Accounting has abruptly shut their doors. This leaves approximately 600 employee and 11,000 clients scratching their heads. And all of this with the end of year just days away. This, coupled with the fact that Bench uses a proprietary software can leave these clients without much needed data and the tax season quickly approaching.

A little over a week before Oreja De Van Gogh and I head to Nepal. Preparations have been ongoing from preparing our businesses, our gear, our minds, and our bodies. We ARE Stronger Together and it is not just about the two of us as we believe marriage takes three, Husband, Wife, and God for without Him none of this is even possible.

Our goals are to enjoy the nature that God has given us while disconnecting (for the most part) and enjoying each others company as we make our way to Everest Base Camp (EBC). From EBC, we will make our way to Ama Dablam basecamp and make our way up the higher camps on the mountain and attempt the summit of Ama Dablam at 6,170 meters (2,239 feet).

We have amazing support for our businesses and appreciate what they are embarking on as well. This will be the first, and very extended leave that Rossanna and I have embarked upon with employees. Our gear is packed (mostly), our minds are focused on the task at hand and letting God lead the way and our bodies are as prepared as they can be for such an adventure.
