July is Disability Pride Month!

This annual monthly long event began as Disability Pride Day in Boston, in 1990.

President George HW Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26th, 1990. This landmark law prohibits discrimination against those with disabilities with the goal of ensuring accessibility in public.

Disability Pride Month recognizes and celebrates the contributions that people with disabilities brings to our community and promotes inclusion.

At EFS- we recognize the contributions and the community of our clients and all those with a disability.
