Can I call some of y’all out real quick?

You know your credit needs attention.

You’ve known it for months.

Maybe even years.

But because nothing is on fire right now, it’s easy to keep pushing it to the bottom of the list.

Until one day your family outgrows that apartment/house

Or your car will no longer go from A to B.

And suddenly the thing you’ve been putting off becomes urgent.

The truth is, the people who put themselves in the best position aren’t always the people making the most money.

They aren’t always the smartest people in the room either.

When I first started helping people with credit, I noticed something.

A lot of people would improve their credit and still not understand what happened.

And honestly, I hated that.

Because if you don’t understand what got you there, it’s easy to end up right back where you started.

One of the questions I get all the time is:

“Do credit builders actually work?”

The short answer?

Yes.

But a credit builder by itself isn’t a strategy.

It’s a tool.

It’s kind of like getting a gym membership.

Signing up for the gym doesn’t automatically get you results.

You still need consistency, a plan, and an understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish.

Credit works the same way.

A lot of people are opening accounts they saw on TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook without really understanding how those accounts fit into the bigger picture.

The problem isn’t always the tool.

Sometimes it’s the lack of strategy behind it.
