We're excited to partner with LeChase Construction, a full-service construction management and general contracting firm with deep experience across many industries, on the Phase 2 player performance expansion of Duke University’s Jack Coombs Field. This highly specialized project centers on the construction of the new David Koch Jr. Player Performance Center, an elite training facility designed to elevate the university's baseball program with cutting-edge development technology.
Our team's HVAC scope for this new construction project includes a new rooftop unit, fan coil units, variable frequency drives, air distribution, and fire dampers. We are also installing approximately 2,500 lbs of galvanized ductwork, fabric duct, hydronic piping, rigging, insulation, system controls, and testing, adjusting, and balancing. Everything we are delivering is designed to ensure comfort, efficiency, and reliability for years to come.
Once complete, the new facility will house state-of-the-art pitching, hitting, and training labs integrated with high-end technology. Broader site improvements will enhance utility infrastructure and circulation along Whitford Drive. We’re also proud to work alongside trusted partners Siemens, TruFit Mechanical Insulation, Palmetto Air & Water Balance, Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc., Hoffman Hydronics, ASC Equipment, and Bull City Sheet Metal, LLC on this project.
