AAA Advisory LLC

AAA Advisory LLC At AAA Advisory, we know life is busy — and taxes shouldn't add to your stress. Our goal is to take tax season off your plate

Whether your return is straightforward or slightly more complex, we’re here to make the process easy, clear, and tailored to you. Hi, I’m Tricia Bush, CPA, CFP®, and the founder of AAA Advisory. I started this firm to help busy professionals take control of their finances—without pressure, jargon, or product sales. After years in both public accounting and financial planning, I saw the need for a

more values-based, tax-smart approach to money. AAA Advisory reflects my belief that true financial success comes from alignment, action, and accountability—and that’s what I bring to every client relationship. I offer virtual, fee-only financial planning and tax support, so you can make clear decisions that move you forward with confidence. If you're searching for me personally (Tricia Bush, CPA, CFP®), you're in the right place. Feel free to check out my social media or reach out directly—I’d love to connect.

A quick tip for my business owners: If you're tracking business mileage, be sure you're logging your miles throughout the year, not just the annual total. With the IRS mileage rate changing on July 1, your CPA will need your business miles separated between the first and second half of the year.

The midyear change follows an increase in gasoline prices, according to the IRS. It is the first such midyear adjustment since 2022.

Congratulations to the winner of the custom pet portrait from the recent Frederick Friends of Our County Animal Shelter event! 🐾🎉

As an animal lover, creating this painting was such a fun project. It was my way of sharing one of my favorite hobbies while supporting a great event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the AAA Advisory booth and spun the prize wheel. I hope this portrait brings a smile every time you see it. Congratulations again!

As Memorial Day weekend wraps up, I keep thinking about what honoring sacrifice really means.

Not just remembering those who fought for our freedoms, but living in a way worthy of that sacrifice.

To stop putting off the things that matter.
To spend time with the people we love.
To help others when we can.
To use our gifts and opportunities intentionally instead of just rushing through life.

That includes being intentional with our finances too, not chasing “more” for the sake of it, but using money as a tool to support the life we truly want to live and the impact we want to have on others.

Freedom is a gift. What we do with it matters. 🇺🇸

If you already have (or are planning to open) a Maryland 529 account, don’t forget about the Maryland Save4College State Contribution Program.

Eligible families may qualify for an additional $250–$500 contribution from the state just for taking the extra application step. 💰

Too often families open the account but miss the state contribution opportunity entirely.

A few key reminders:
✔️ You must apply separately for the state contribution
✔️ There are income and eligibility requirements
✔️ The application deadline is May 31
✔️ Minimum contribution requirements apply depending on income level

Even if you’re still deciding how much college you want to fund for your children, taking advantage of available tax benefits and state contributions can make the process much more manageable over time.

Learn more here:

And if you haven’t started a 529 yet, this may be a good reminder to finally check that box. ✔️

Disclosure: This is for educational purposes only and not meant as tax or financial planning advice.

The Save4College State Contribution Program is designed to help lower to middle-income families in Maryland save money for higher education. Start saving today.
