💸 As a consumer, the best way to win me over is with customer service. I should have to chase a business down to give them my money, but I don’t want to be harassed either. If I reach out to a business to inquire about their services, I expect a follow up response within 24 business hours. 📱
Story time: one of our air conditioning units needs replaced 🥵 We had two companies come out in April to give estimates, but then life happened (graduation, guests, boating season 🫣) and we decided to hold off because we didn’t know if we wanted to invest that much money into our house at that moment.
Fast forward to August, actual temps of 96° and humidity that makes it feel like eleventy-billion-trillion degrees, we have 3 houseguests for a week AND our one AC unit decides to retire. On a Tuesday morning I reach back out to those companies from April to request an updated estimate. I also called a third company a friend recommended. The third company had their estimate to us within an hour and the salesman made time to speak with us to answer questions. One of the original companies finally sent theirs over 5 days later; the other never sent anything back.
In the end, we signed a contract to go with the most responsive company. The prices from the two companies were within a couple hundred dollars of one another.
Business Owners: Don’t lose customers (and revenue) over lack of customer service. Let me help you seal the deal. 🤝
