Great design leaves a lasting impression—but so do the people who give back.
The Impact Award honors designers and industry partners whose influence extends beyond their projects through volunteerism, mentorship, leadership, and meaningful community engagement. If you’ve made a difference by serving others, mentoring the next generation, or strengthening our industry, this award is for you.
Whether you’re submitting your own achievements or nominating a colleague or industry partner, this is an opportunity to gain recognition and celebrate those making a lasting impact on Houston’s design community.
Submission Requirements
✔️ Open to IDS Members only
✔️ A brief statement (100 words or less) explaining why you or your nominee deserves recognition
✔️ One supporting image or media link
Entry Fees
⭐ $100 per submission
⭐ Rising Star entries: $50
⭐ Applicants may enter multiple categories; each entry requires a separate submission and applicable fee.
