I wanted to share some exciting news with everyone.

When I took ownership of EZ Financial Group nearly six years ago, I recognized that many of my clients needed guidance not only with their finances but also with their taxes. That inspired me to expand my knowledge and better serve them.

In the fall of 2025, I officially became an Enrolled Agent (EA), the highest tax credential awarded by the IRS. I also launched Tax Playbook Advisors to provide tax preparation, tax planning, and advisory services alongside the financial services offered through EZ Financial Group.

Today, whether you need financial guidance, tax preparation, or proactive tax planning, I'm honored to be able to help you with all of your financial and tax needs.

None of this would have been possible without the support of those around me. I want to sincerely thank my amazing wife and family for believing in me, my children for their constant encouragement, and, above all, my Lord and Savior for His guidance, grace, and countless blessings every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate this year’s EZ Financial Scholarship recipient at the 2026 Pearland HS Band Banquet! This marks our 4th year sponsoring the scholarship, and we’re excited to announce this year’s honoree: Julia Frerking.

What an exciting week for the Class of 2025 High School graduates! This time, we had the full experience as our daughter was part of the Pearland 2025 graduating class. We are so proud of her and all the graduates.

This is our second year to sponsor a scholarship to a Pearland High School band student. We are so proud to support higher education for our local community.

Congratulations to our 2nd annual scholarship recipient Mia Marsh, who was selected by the Pearland High School band committee.

Mia will be attending UTSA and study Biology. She plans to pursue a career in Dentistry.

I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe during these times.

I just wanted to share something with everyone. Some may know my story while others may not. In late 2018 the original owner of EZ Financial Group decided to retire from the industry. As his only employee, he laid out a few options for me. One of those options included purchasing the firm. Of course this was a HUGE decision. My wife and I talked about it for a couple of weeks. In the end we decided, that since I have a passion for this industry, to go ahead and purchase. The terms were laid out AND today I just made the last payment. So it is a very exciting day for me and my family!

So I'd like to thank my wife for believing in me, my children for their support and of course for my lord and savior.

I haven't forgotten about my clients! Thank you for your continuous trust and referrals! Without you, there would be no EZ Financial Group.
