Some career moves change what you do.

The best ones change why you do it.

Before joining FGP, Gary R. Christie built a career as an anti-money laundering investigator, technical writer & internal auditor. Important work, but he found himself searching for a more direct connection between his work & the people it impacted.

Today, that connection looks a lot different.

"I've always had a passion for helping people. Now, through my work at FGP, I can easily see how the work I do directly benefits clients."

That sense of purpose is a big part of what brought Gary to the FGP Collective, where he can combine his experience, curiosity & passion for helping people to make a tangible difference in the lives of the clients he serves.

Gary also shared his appreciation for FGP leadership, Ken Creasman, who was one of his first connections to the firm, & most importantly, the clients who have trusted him to help build the financial security they deserve.

Some opportunities start with an application.

Allie Segura's started with a voicemail.

In June 2021, Jordan Marley reached out simply wanting to get to know her. Five years later, Allie earned her contract with FGP.

That's a pretty incredible full-circle moment.

"I am so happy I trusted her and my gut on taking a bet on myself. I have seen the impact of how we are actually different!"

That bet was backed by a lot of people along the way. Allie gives a special thank you to her life partner, Kelsey Knuth, for supporting her & pushing her outside her comfort zone. Ken, Phil & Frank for being constant sources of knowledge & encouragement & Jordan for making that first FGP introduction five years ago.

Sometimes the right opportunity doesn't arrive all at once. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, grows through relationships & eventually becomes something worth betting on yourself for.
