🚨 Important Refund/Disbursement Update from NV & Co. Tax Group! 🚨
The IRS is currently issuing tax refunds. Here’s what you need to know:
✔️ Your effective date is determined by when the IRS sends your refund, not when it arrives in your account.
✔️ Please allow time for your bank to receive and process your funds. ⏳
✔️ The timing of when your bank makes the funds available is beyond the control of both your tax preparer and the IRS.
✔️ If you haven't received your refund within 7-10 days of the effective date, we recommend checking with your bank first. If necessary, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. Your tax preparer will not have additional information regarding this.
For Early Disbursement Clients:
💰 If you received a check or card disbursement directly from your tax preparer, you may receive your funds earlier than the effective date.
💰 Some banks also offer early disbursement options, so it’s a good idea to check with your bank. 🏦
If you had any fees or advances, here’s what to expect:
💰 If you took an advance, that amount will be deducted from your refund.
💰 Tax prep fees paid from your refund will be deducted as well.
💰 If you opted for fee deductions, software and bank fees may apply.
💰 If you received an advance of $1,000 or more, interest will be deducted!
Please note that your final deposit amount may be lower than your total refund due to these deductions. We encourage you to review your paperwork for clarity before reaching out with questions.
Happy Funding! 💸😊 Thank you for choosing NV & Co. Tax Group
