- Third quarter estimated tax payment due for self employed individuals and business owners who make quarterly estimated tax payments.

- Extended tax return deadline for Partnerships (Form 1065) and S Corporations (Form 1120-S) that filed an extension.

🚨 Don’t let the end of the year sneak up on you! Staying organized throughout the year can help you avoid scrambling to gather important contractor information when it’s time to prepare your taxes. It’s important to collect and keep this information organized ahead of time so your end-of-year tax prep goes smoothly.

Have each contractor complete Form W-9 so you have important details such as:

Legal name or business name
Federal tax classification
Address
Taxpayer Identification Number, such as an SSN or EIN

You’ll also want accurate records of how much you paid each contractor throughout the year so you can determine whether a 1099 is required.

Due to rising fuel prices, the IRS has increased the standard business mileage rate for the remainder of 2026.

Updated business mileage rates:
-January 1 to June 30, 2026: $0.725 per mile
-July 1 to December 31, 2026: $0.760 per mile

We wanted to let our clients know about a change to our business hours.

Effective immediately, our office will be closed on Mondays.
Our new off-season hours are:
Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Once tax season picks back up, we’ll return to our regular extended schedule:
Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We understand this may be an adjustment and we truly appreciate your understanding. As a firm rooted in strong family values, this change allows our team more well-deserved time to rest and be with their families after the long hours and dedication they put in during the busy season.

We made it through another busy season! 🎉

After months of long hours and hard work, our office will be closed April 17th - April 20th so our team can rest, recharge, and spend time with their families.
