r full financial picture, visualizing their life goals, and managing their wealth throughout all of life’s milestones. We want to be your trusted partner on the path to prosperity–whatever that might look like for you. Our plans give our clients peace of mind today, and a solid road map for tomorrow. Our firm is named Pachira–the literal term for the “money tree”–to reflect our company’s approach, which closely mirrors the plant’s symbolism. A Money Tree boasts a striking braided trunk, made from the joining of multiple Pachira Aquatica, which reinforces its sturdiness as it blooms to its full potential. This symbol of good fortune represents strength through collaboration, rootedness in a solid foundation, and the endless possibility for growth. With Pachira Wealth Management, your finances are strongly rooted, built to last, with endless possibilities for abundance.

There is a stretch of life where you are helping your kids figure out their next step and helping your parents figure out theirs, often in the same week. The financial questions that come with it are rarely simple, and they are almost never discussed until something forces the issue. Where are their documents? Who has legal authority if a decision needs to be made quickly? What do they actually want? Asking early is not intrusive. It is what makes the next conversation easier instead of harder. We sit with women in the middle of this all the time, and we can help you think through your parents' picture and your own at the same time.

Divorce forces a hundred decisions at once, and the financial ones tend to fall to the bottom of the list. There is a house to sort out, an attorney to keep paying, and a schedule to hold together. So the harder questions about retirement accounts, beneficiaries, and long-term cash flow get pushed to "once things settle down." Waiting has a cost, and it compounds. A settlement can look fair on paper and still leave you with assets that do not work for your actual life. Our newest guide answers the questions we hear most often, from what documents to gather to how a QDRO works to when beneficiary designations need updating. This guide to financial planning during divorce covers what women need to know—from asset division to QDROs—so you can move forward with confidence.

We do not want you to hand us your money and look away. We want you to understand what you own, why you own it, and how it connects to the life you are building. An advisor who cannot explain your plan in plain language is not doing their job.

That is why education sits at the center of everything we do here. Every question is worth asking, every answer belongs to you, and confidence is not something we hand out. It is something we help you build.

August 26 is Women's Equality Day, and the gaps that remain are not only about pay. They compound. Time out of the workforce for caregiving, a smaller lifetime earnings base, and a longer life expectancy all land in the same place eventually, which is retirement.

Equality in the workplace is a long project. Building a plan that accounts for the reality women are living right now is something you can start on this month. That is the work we were founded to do.

Equity compensation is often the biggest asset a woman executive owns, and the one she understands the least. Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), stock options, deferred bonuses. They rarely show up with an explanation, just a grant letter, a vesting notice, and eventually a tax bill.

In our latest blog, we break down the difference between RSUs and stock options, what concentrated stock risk is quietly doing to your portfolio, and when it makes sense to exercise.

If you’re ready to manage your equity strategically instead of reactively, it's worth a read: https://bit.ly/3S3r4Tj

A practical playbook for equity compensation planning for women executives, covering RSUs, stock options, and tax strategy to protect what you've earned.

For many of the women we work with, giving is not an afterthought. It is a reflection of who they are. But philanthropy often shows up as a year-end task rather than a planned part of a financial life, and that timing can cost you both impact and tax efficiency.

In her recent column for Loudonville Neighbors, Gretchen Meyer walks through how charitable giving can be integrated into the bigger picture, from donor-advised funds to donating appreciated securities to grouping several years of gifts into one tax year. Her phrase for the goal is one we love: giving with gladness.

Backpacks are being filled, and calendars are getting crowded again. For the women carrying a household and a career at once, August has a way of surfacing every financial question at the same time. Education costs. Retirement contributions. The account you have been meaning to look at since spring.

Our Investment Management service exists so you are not holding all of it alone. Asset allocation, portfolio review, account aggregation, and a team you can reach when something changes. You bring the questions. We will bring the structure.

Today is National Relaxation Day, and we would argue that real rest is one of the most underrated returns on a good financial plan. It is hard to unplug when a corner of your mind is still doing math at 2 a.m.

When your cash reserve is right-sized, your accounts are organized, and you know what your money is meant to do, rest stops feeling like something you have to earn. It becomes something your plan makes room for. If you cannot remember the last time you truly exhaled, that may be worth a conversation.

A lot of women put off calling a financial advisor because they think they need to have things figured out first. However, in reality, there is no bar to clear before you are allowed to ask for help.

A first conversation with us is a complimentary consultation, which really means an hour of listening. You bring whatever you have, including the questions you have been embarrassed to ask, and we take it from there. That is where every plan starts.

Our founder, Gretchen Meyer, joined the Aligned Money Show for an episode called Owning Your Finances. The conversation goes straight at something we believe deeply: financial security is not something anyone hands you. It is something you build.

Gretchen and host George Grombacher talk about abundance versus simple asset accumulation, why personal agency sits at the center of every good plan, and what a goal-based approach really looks like in practice. If you have been waiting for permission to take the wheel of your own financial life, consider this it.
