As we close out another blessed month of Ramadan, I’m grateful for the opportunity to experience it once again.
Each year, the physical challenge of fasting gets a little easier. But what replaces it is something deeper. The real challenge becomes: how can I better serve Allah? How can I show up with more intention, more discipline, and more sincerity in my deen?
This Ramadan pushed me in new ways. I made the effort to step outside of my usual environment, visiting different masjids and being more intentional about spending time in the house of Allah. There’s something powerful about removing yourself from routine and seeking Him in new spaces.
Even as I celebrate 32 years of life, I was reminded of what truly matters, community, gratitude, and connection. Ending Ramadan with Eid, surrounded by love, giving, and fellowship, is a blessing I don’t take lightly.
A special thank you to my brother for the opportunity to show my family how Eid should be celebrated. Being part of creating a meaningful Eid experience for the kids in our community is something I know carries weight beyond what we can see. May Allah be pleased with us for it.
I pray that Allah accepts my fast, my shortcomings, and my good deeds. And Inshallah, grants me the opportunity to see another Ramadan.
