You can rent your home to your business for up to 14 days a year and write off the expense—without reporting the rental income?

This is called the “Augusta Rule” (Section 280A of the IRS code). It’s a smart strategy for small business owners to consider:
✅ Your business deducts the rent as an expense.
✅ You don’t have to claim the income (as long as it’s 14 days or less).
