Can't make the April 15 tax deadline?

Don’t panic — but don’t ignore it either. 👉 File an extension!

Filing an extension gives you extra time to file your return (until October 15) — but keep in mind:

✔️ You still need to pay any taxes owed by April 15
✔️ Helps you avoid late filing penalties
✔️ Gives you time to file accurately and avoid mistakes

💡 Important Reminder:
An extension to file is NOT an extension to pay.

💡 Did You Know? Check Your W-4!

If both spouses are working, selecting Married Filing Jointly on your W-4 may cause too little tax to be withheld, since employers assume only one spouse has income.

📌 This can lead to a large tax bill at filing time.

To avoid this:
✔️ Choose Married but withhold at the higher Single rate
✔️ Or complete the Two-Jobs Worksheet (Step 2) on the W-4.

A quick review of your W-4 today can help prevent surprises at tax time.
