My first deal didn’t look like the ones on Instagram.

No car. No license. Not much money. I closed it in the Bronx and got to every meeting on public transit.

One thing I always tell new investors is this:

Don't let the excitement of finding an opportunity stop you from doing the work behind it.

Learn the market. Understand the numbers. Research the property. Know your options.

You don't have to know everything on day one.

But you should always be willing to learn something new.
