Our technology became quantum. Our mindset remained industrial.

We live in a world of AI, quantum computing, and constant innovation.

Yet many of us are still trying to navigate it with an outdated operating system: hustle harder, do more, stay busy.

What if the productivity crisis isn't about time management?

What if it's about consciousness?

In my latest essay, I explore why the future of productivity isn't found in another app or optimization hack, but in slowing down, cultivating awareness, and learning to work with our energy instead of against it.

If you've ever felt that modern life is moving faster than your nervous system can keep up, this one's for you.

When was the last time you paused to reflect before moving on to the next thing?

So often, we jump from one month to the next without celebrating our progress or learning from what didn't go as planned.

This 60-minute Productivity Workshop is your opportunity to slow down, check in with yourself, and move forward with intention.

Together, we'll:
✨ Reflect on the past month
✨ Celebrate your wins
✨ Identify what got in the way
✨ Clarify your priorities
✨ Create a simple plan for the month ahead

You don't need a perfect system, you just need a moment to pause, reset, and begin again.

📅 Join me for this 60-minute workshop and start your next month with clarity instead of overwhelm.

💛 I'd love to see you there.

It takes 10 seconds to install instagram back after deleting. I do almost once a week, I delete for a day or two and install it back. Nice break from it.

So much to enjoy in NYC this summer, check out free silent disco at Lincoln Center in July!

Happy Summer!

More dancing, less instagram ;)

How often do you set aside time to do one thing well?

Most of us don't struggle because we have too much to do.

We struggle because our attention is constantly being pulled in different directions.

A break doesn't have to be a vacation.

It can be one minute to pause and take a few deep breaths.

It can be a weekend with nothing on your calendar.

It can be a slow evening with a cup of tea, a good book, or simply sitting in silence.

Rest isn't something you earn, it's something you need.

Remember to rest. 🤍

Repost from

There is a macabre joke that if you proposed the concept of a publicly funded library to Americans today, partisans would call it woke.

For America’s 250th, the Times asked us to write about what we think represents the best of what the country can be. I, of course, wrote about public libraries.

Ursula K. Le Guin once said, “We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings.” The power of what is can foreclose on what might be. The public library, paid for by the people and for the cultural endowment of the people, was a window into what was possible.

Mid-Year Reflection: Are Your Actions Aligned With Your Intentions?

We are halfway through the year.

A good time to pause and reflect on what has unfolded so far, and whether your daily actions are aligned with your deeper intentions.

I recently came across this quote by Alice Walker:

"Look closely at the present you are constructing.
It should look like the future you are dreaming."

It is a simple but powerful reminder that our future is not created someday, it is created through the choices we make today.

Six months ago, many of us began the year with goals, dreams, and intentions. Since then, life has happened. Some priorities have flourished, while others may have quietly drifted into the background.

The Summer Solstice offers a beautiful opportunity to pause and ask:

- What am I proud of?
- What feels out of alignment?
- What deserves my attention now?
- Do my weekly actions reflect the future I want to create?

This Saturday, I'll be leading a Focus Hour, a guided reflection and planning session where we'll reconnect with our priorities, revisit our intentions, and set the mood for the second half of 2026.

Join us online at 11 AM EST to slow down, reflect, connect with different parts of yourself, and create a plan for the months ahead.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is pause long enough to remember where we're going.

Mountains calling.

On Sunday (June 14th), I am organizing a mindful hike.

A day to commune with nature, leave your phone behind, and recharge in the beauty all around you.

“In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.” — John Muir

Mindful Hiking is an opportunity to be in nature with more awareness, calmness, and joy.
To leave your phone behind for a bit and listen to yourself and the nature around you.
To have space to be with yourself, nature, and others in a meaningful way.

We are going to Cold Spring, to the Bull Hill trail.

Join us if the mountains are calling you.
DM for details.

The image is a beautiful work by Johanna Goodman from a book I recently saw at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
