This year, I started my business with clear intentions—to work closely with small businesses and provide quality bookkeeping services. Along the way, because so many of you asked, I also accepted a small number of tax clients. I officially opened in January 2025, hopeful and excited for the future.
Almost immediately, life had other plans. My mom became very ill and was quickly moved into hospice care. I found myself pulled between grief, caregiving, and trying to grow a new business. What I hoped would be a fresh start instead became one of the hardest seasons of my life.
After nine difficult months, my mother passed peacefully at the end of September. These past weeks have been spent trying to reorient myself—figuring out what life looks like now, and how I want to move forward.
What I’ve learned is this: after everything, more money will never be as valuable as more time. I spent so much precious time away from my family to care for my mom, and now my focus needs to return to them.
With that in mind, I will be winding down this page and keeping my business open only for a small number of select clients. Perhaps in the future I’ll open back up to the public, but for now, I’m choosing the path that honors my family and my own healing.
Thank you all for your patience, your kindness, and your support during this season. It has meant more than you know. I’m rebuilding my life with what truly matters at the center—and I’m grateful for every one of you who has walked beside me.
