Tax season is officially over—but I’m not going anywhere! 📑✨

I wanted to send out a quick update as I shift gears from tax season mode to "maintenance mode."

What I’m working on now:

I’ll be using the next few months to catch up with my business clients and focus on anyone who is on extension or behind on their filings. If you need help getting caught up, I’m here! Even outside of "busy season," my door is always open if you have questions or concerns.

Improving your experience:

As my client list grows, I’m evolving, too. I’m currently testing a new client management and portal system. I want to make sure the platform is as user-friendly as possible for you. It’s still in the trial phase, but if you’re tech-savvy and want to help me test the "client side" of things, let me know!

Your taxes, explained:

I’ve heard your feedback loud and clear: you value in-person meetings and real-time answers. That isn't changing! My goal isn't just to file for you, but to help you understand your taxes. If you’ve owed money for the last three years, we need to talk. There are options to avoid underpayment penalties and change your withholding. If your life situation is changing, come see me—let’s plan ahead so you aren't surprised next year.

The saga of the road sign: 🚧

For those asking about the sign by the road: yes, it will be back! It’s had a rough two years (first the wind, then a car accident!), but it’s a part of life. Please know: just because the sign is down doesn't mean I’m not here. I am very much in business and always accepting new clients!

Real life vs. Tax season:

Finally, I want to say a huge thank you for your patience this year. Life didn't stop during tax season—from school events and hockey games to family illnesses and personal losses—I navigated it all right alongside you. I promise that when I say I’m working on your returns, I am. But I also refuse to miss the milestones of my kids' lives. Thank you for respecting that balance and for your kindness when some returns took longer than expected.

As I sit here reconciling my accounts after a busy tax season, I’ve had a moment to reflect—and I am truly overwhelmed. For the third year in a row, my client list has officially doubled. 📈

I wanted to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU.

Extensions aren't bad! Did you know you only need an extension if you think you owe. An extension is only an extension to file. The due date to any money owed is still April 15th. If you havent filed reach out and I can still help!
