TAX UPDATE: The IRS just raised the mileage rate!

If you drive for your business (or medical reasons) be sure to track your miles closely this year.

The IRS has increased the standard mileage rates for the SECOND half of this year (effective July 1 - December 31)

Here are the new effective mileage rates:
🚗 Business miles: 76 cents per mile (up from 72.5)
🚗 Medical miles: 23.5 cents per mile (up from 20.5)

What does this mean?
Business owners, you will need to split your mileage logs this year by date in order to calculate your mileage properly and maximize your deduction.
