Moved cities, started a new job, or opened a business this year?
Your local tax situation may have changed, and it's easy to overlook.
In Ohio, most municipalities collect their own income tax on top of state and federal taxes, usually administered through RITA or CCA depending on where you live and work.
If you live in one city and work in another, you may owe both, though many cities offer a credit so you're not double-taxed.
If you're not sure how this applies to you, it's worth a quick conversation before it becomes a surprise at tax time.
