Breakthrough T1D is dedicated to accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and better treat type 1 diabetes while improving the lives of those currently living with the condition. A record-breaking night for a meaningful cause.

Our 9th Annual Harrison Financial Services Casino Night was our most successful event yet, raising more than $200,000 for Breakthrough T1D, The Kim Foundation - Advocating for Mental Health Services, and Blood Cancer United.

What started as an evening of fun and connection became something even more powerful. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we more than doubled last year's fundraising total and expanded our impact in a meaningful way.

Some legacies deserve to be celebrated year after year.

Last week, Tim Harrison announced the inaugural "Louie the Legend" Award in honor of his late father, R. Lou Harrison.

R. Lou was one of Tim's first employees and often said that working for his son during that decade was the hardest he had ever worked.

Tim shares that he “hired him right out of college," as Tim had recently graduated with his accounting degree and passed the CPA exam. R. Lou joined Tim shortly after this, along with Tim's brother Jeffrey. His determination, humility, and unwavering dedication helped shape the culture of our firm, and this award was created to honor those qualities.

We're proud to recognize Jackie Hansen as the 2026 recipient. As our Client Service Manager, Jackie exemplifies the spirit of this award through her commitment to serving clients and supporting our team every day.

Jackie, thank you for the care and excellence you bring to Harrison Financial Services. Along with a monetary award, we hope you enjoy a week spent in nature, a tribute to one of R. Lou's favorite ways to recharge.
