The Fossil Hut Ltd. The Fossil Hut Ltd sells common and unusual fossils to the general public and to specialty collectors. The retail geographical focus is the upper Midwest.

Most of my fossils are direct purchase and shipment directly from the country of origin, collected by the original collector - no middle man to keep prices low. Sales taxes are not charged but absorbed and paid by Fossil Hut later to the State (equals a 9% savings off the top on everything), and further discounts may be offered on multiple purchases if requested, depending on the number of items purchased, and each rariety.

The Fossil Hut will again appear at the 2026 Detroit Rock Show. The Show was closed last year for renovation of the building. I will have some fine crystals, minerals, and fossils on sale. This is a LARGE Show indeed. I will also be presenting 2 different slide shows, on fossil fish and another on Cambrian fossils. Speaker schedule to be posted later.

The Fossil Hut is returning again this year to the MAPS fossils and minerals show in Springfield April 23-26, 2026. First day April 23 is ONLY at the hotel room shows while the actual show site is open Friday through Saturday. No need to bother coming on Sunday as many dealers are already gone. This year as last, the Show is no longer only fossils, while there still will be many, but minerals/crystals are now allowed as well. Fossil lovers can always get some good deals on fossils.
