🚨 SCAM WARNING FOR TAXPAYERS 🚨

We want to make our clients aware of a scam call currently making its rounds.

Scammers are calling taxpayers claiming to be from a “Tax Resolution Department” or saying they can “resolve” your tax debt immediately. They may sound official and use urgent language to pressure you.

⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM. ⚠️

Please remember:
• The IRS will NOT call demanding immediate payment over the phone
• The IRS will NOT threaten arrest, lawsuits, or suspension of your SSN
• Do NOT give out your Social Security number, banking information, or payment details to unsolicited callers
• Do NOT click suspicious links sent through text or email

If you receive one of these calls:
✅ Hang up immediately
✅ Do not engage with the caller
✅ Contact your trusted tax professional directly if you have concerns about your tax account

Ober & Littlefield CPAs will be closed Thursday, April 16th for a much-needed Tax Reset Day.
