Welcome! I began Melissa Bloys CPA PLLC in October 2021 to provide outsourced accounting and advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses with a growth mindset.
Prior to starting my own firm, I was the Director of Accounting for CoveMark Investment Management, where I served as CFO for one of its portfolio companies, Capra Foods. Additionally, I worked in the Audit Services Department at Tenet Health for 11 years, serving as a Director on the team for 5 years. Prior to that, I was in public accounting at Rylander, Clay & Opitz in Fort Worth.
I am a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and earned my B.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA). I am also a wife and mom of two.
