Six months ago, I resigned from my career and announced my very, very early retirement at 34 years old. Home is where God led me to be for my relationship with Him, my Christian walk, my marriage, my family, ministry and my purpose. I also needed to remove myself from an unhealthy work environment that was physically killing me!
I'm so thankful for every single loyal client turned friend in those years of retail taxes.
Because of contractual obligations, I do want to apologize (I am very sorry!) I was not able to personally reach out to every single one of you before or during this process. Non-compete, soliciting, etc. Just know over 200 post cards were made and still in a stack on my desk here at home.
Also, I'm sorry to those who have called, emailed or sent a dm about your terrible experiences elsewhere. 😔
Some of you were loyal to a fault! 😂
Some of you knocked on my door, stalked me, stopped me in public, became a social media follower/friend, met me on our Lowes trips while I was dressed in dirty renovation clothes and even some had other tax offices hunt me down. Thank you! 😘
For those who begged for help in the only ways I could legally help, teaching you "technology able" how to navigate online and app services, thank you for trusting me beyond the brand that I represented from December 2009 to November 2025. Thank you for trusting me as your teacher and volunteer consultant this year! 💚
For those who absolutely refused to allow me to retire. Thank you...maybe! 🤣 Thank you for allowing me to give back and provide you with uncharged teaching service sitting at my kitchen table all hours of the day and evening to ask me all the tax questions, midnight video calls just to learn where all of your info goes, screenshots asking if that "looks right", and even allowing me to sit at your kitchen table or on your couch to help you verify your identity by simply telling you to remove your reading glasses for the green app and the tax collectors website facial scan.
Thank you to my loyal friends for the bingo invites, dinner invites, cruise invites, Amsterdam invites, Europe vacation invites. Thank you for every dinner paid for, glass of tea, snacks from overseas, fresh garlic from your garden.
Thank you for blessing my little family in ways you couldn't imagine!
