We did it! With the help of many volunteers, the SLEF Welcome to Kindergarten committee, AKA, The Bag Ladies, prepared 515 totes for the incoming Class of 2039! So honored to be part of this amazing foundation!

As you can imagine, preparing thoughtful gifts containing meaningful (and useful!) literacy and learning supplies for every single incoming kindergartener in the district doesn’t just happen over night.

In fact, this committee of remarkable women has been planning and organizing for months to make SLEF’s Kindergarten Welcome Bags possible! Michelle Dreger-Tomei, Jill Vargo, Stacy Warthman, Nicole Parent, Ashley Zajac, Lauren Burkhard-Ortega and Rachael Perry Showerman, we can’t thank you enough for your time, your talent, your amazing organizational skills, and your big, beautiful hearts ❤️
