One week to go until our 20th Annual Swing Fore Charity Golf Tournament!

This event benefits the Public Safety Foundation and their mission to provide critical resources to first responders across Central Minnesota.

Gabby, our Marketing Coordinator, recently sat down with Tony Rivera from the Malco Group, a first responder with over 20 years of service, to share the heart behind this tournament and the impact the Public Safety Foundation makes.

Meet Matt Jacobs! Matt is the Accounting & Facilities Coordinator at Jacobs Financial, where he helps keep the internal side of the business organized, efficient, and running without a hitch. A St. Cloud native, he takes pride in contributing to a firm that’s deeply rooted in the same community he grew up in.

His background includes work as a paralegal and in logistics, experiences that built a strong foundation in organization, follow-through, and critical thinking. Today, those skills show up in how he manages financial processes, maintains the office environment, and supports the team in a wide variety of ways.

Matt is someone the team can count on to handle the details and keep things moving forward behind the scenes. His steady presence helps create an environment where advisors can stay focused on what matters most, serving clients well.

As part of the Jacobs family, being involved in the business carries an added level of meaning. He’s proud to play a role in continuing the firm’s legacy and supporting its long-term growth.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys getting out and exploring, whether that’s hiking local trails or heading west for more challenging climbs. He’s always up for an adventure and appreciates any chance to spend time outdoors.

It was great having Jody back in the office last week helping our team prepare for our 20th Annual Swing Fore Charity Golf Tournament.

After spending over 20 years with Jacobs Financial and leading this event, she kindly came back in after retiring last year to help make sure everything is ready to go.
