The FBI is warning that there is a new stimulus check scam circulating. People are receiving text messages, supposedly from Costco, offering "$110 goodies," and other hooks, to get recipients to sign bogus surveys. The information from these surveys can be used to steal your identity, commit financial fraud, or inject malware into your computer. Do not click on these emails and warn your family and clients to avoid them as well. https://buff.ly/2UdVhho

About Form 8822, Change of Address | Internal Revenue Service

Those who change their addresses after they file their federal tax returns may have a tougher time getting their refund checks. The IRS warns taxpayers that not all post offices forward government checks, instead it may be returned to the IRS.
This is true even if you have submitted a change-of-address form at your local post office. I recommend to file an address change directly with IRS if your address has changed since you last filed a return, use form 8822

Information about Form 8822, Change of Address, including recent updates, related forms and instructions on how to file. Form 8822 is used by taxpayers to notify the IRS of changes in home or business mailing addresses or business location.

Briefly, the Treasury Department will try to send checks to Americans immediately, within the next two weeks, and people who will owe or currently owe the IRS can defer those payments (without interest charges) for 90-days.
This story is continuing to unfold and information may change. NSA will keep you abreast of any changes.
