Tyler the CFO

Tyler the CFO I help CEOs of businesses doing $1-$30m in revenue scale as their Fractional CFO. How I do it:
I lead, manage and hold accountable Accounting/Finance teams.

What makes me different:

While most Fractional CFOs have a background in accounting and/or tax, I am a "Recovering CEO" who has run all aspects of a company. My background as a CEO alongside my experience as a CFO & leader for 250+ companies in the last 16 years, allows me to be more holistic and strategic in my approach, which is what I have found CEO’s need in companies

pport Marketing, Sales, Ops, HR, Legal and Admin teams with a finance perspective
I develop capital strategy and support capital raising when necessary. I support the strategic planning process aligning long term goals with daily KPIs. Potential Deliverables: Annual Strategic Financial Plan, Capital Strategy, Comprehensive Compensation Plans, Analysis of Financial Data, Weekly Cash Flow Projections, Budgets, KPI Dashboards, Monthly Financial Reports, Financial Projections and most importantly ideas to create company value and profits! Benefits:
CEOs have more time to focus on the revenue generating parts of the business (Marketing, Sales and Product) as I lead the back office for them. CEOs also benefit from an independent 3rd party perspective on the biggest challenges to their goals. CEOs benefit from having a financial expert on the leadership team for a fraction of the cost of a full time CFO. My Experience:
Served as Fractional CFO for 250+ CEOs in the last 15 years. Started, built and sold my own company as CEO
Helped scale a professional services company from $3-$16m in 5 years. Grew a CPG company from idea to $10m in 4 years. Specialized Industry Experience in Professional Services, CPG, Technology, Sports/Wellness/Health Companies, Startups and Event Planning
Passionate about the Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS)

Top Problems I Solve:

Improving profitability
Managing cash flow
Creating financial forecasts
Pricing products or services
Raising capital
Structuring for growth
Developing a budget
Tracking financial KPIs
Negotiating with high value vendors

From Baseball Cards to Building Businesses

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I was hooked on business from a young age. My first venture, a baseball card business in 5th grade, taught me valuable financial lessons about budgeting and turning a profit. This early experience fueled my passion for entrepreneurship, leading me to launch several ventures throughout high school and college. Building & Scaling Businesses as a Fractional CFO

After successfully building and exiting VAVi Sport & Social Club in 2008, I transitioned to become a Fractional CFO. For the past 16 years, I've partnered with over 250 companies across diverse industries. I help businesses achieve their financial goals by leveraging my years of experience into exponential growth and profitability for my clients. Beyond the Boardroom

When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling (41 countries & counting), DIY projects, and building furniture – skills that come in handy when tackling complex financial challenges with a creative and solution-oriented mindset.
