Tax season is well underway, and we are down to about a month until April 15th!

If you haven’t received all your documents or haven’t put them all together yet, there is no reason to panic.

Filing an extension for your personal and/or business return may be the right move and gives you additional time to file properly. Extensions this year may be common this year considering the late Idaho form changes for conformity and delayed Idaho Parental Choice Credit notifications.

Keep in mind an extension gives you more time to file but not more time to pay. Any tax owed is still due by the deadline.
