This Labor Day, I'm celebrating someone whose work ethic has inspired me my entire life: my mother, Paula Riley.

Whether she was competing as an award-winning trail rider or building a successful career as a Six Sigma professional with a Fortune 500 company, she approached every challenge with determination, discipline, and grit. She forged a path in traditionally male-dominated roles and showed me what it means to keep learning, growing, and pushing forward.

Labor Day is about honoring the contributions and achievements of hardworking people, and Paula is the perfect example of that spirit. I'm grateful for the values she instilled in me and for the opportunity to still share a trail ride with her from time to time.
