Kevin Bergeron - Practice Director/CFO

Kevin joined CEFO Advisors in August 2022 as a Controller and was promoted to CFO in 2023 and to Practice Director in 2024. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in the accounting and finance fields with an expertise in construction, IT, financial advisory, and real estate. He earned his undergraduate degree from UNC Wilmington, and his MS in Accounting, and MBA from the Cameron School of Business at UNC Wilmington. Kevin resides in Charlton with his wife and 3 young sons.

Pat McGowan, CFO

Pat joined CEFO Advisors in July 2022 as a Fractional CFO. He has more than 30 years of experience as a finance and operations professional working with companies including Fidelity Investments, Informz, Six Flags Great Escape and Resort, and Construction Industry Solutions.
He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland and his MBA from Bentley University and in 2014 was named one of the Capital District’s CFOs of the Year by the Albany Business Review.
In his free time Pat enjoys spending time with his 2 adult children, attending live music concerts and professional sporting events.

Jason Lemery - Practice Director / CFO

Prior to joining CEFO in 2020, Jason served as the Corporate Controller at Creative Stage Lighting Inc. for 12 years. Before Creative Stage, Jason worked for Pregis Corporation as their Corporate Controller having previously spent 5 years working at public accounting firms. Jason graduated from Hartwick College with a BS in Accounting with a minor in Finance. He is a member of the AICPA and has served on the budget and finance committee of the Glens Falls YMCA. Fun Fact: When asked what his dream job was as a kid, Jason replied, "an airline pilot"!

Kim Bryant - Practice Director of Accounting Services

Kim joined CEFO Advisors in July 2021 as Manager of Accounting Services. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in accounting and management. Prior to working for CEFO, Bryant worked for Rutnik & Co. PC where she began as a staff accountant in 2000 and served in various positions of increasing responsibility and leadership.

Kim's favorite activities are playing volleyball and participating in Mud Runs. When asked what her dream job was when she was a kid, Kim replied "a NYC Detective".

CEFO Advisors had a great night out to celebrate the achievements of the South End Children's Cafe in Albany. What an amazing organization led by founder and Executive Director, Tracie Killar. This Women's President's Organization sponsored Galentine's event at Troy's Revolution Hall, featured Benita Zahn as the keynote speaker. John Lang, CFO

John, a Fractional CFO, joined the CEFO Advisors team in December 2024. He brings a wealth of professional experience to our team having previously owned his own CFO Advisory Firm, Lang CFO Advisory Services. John previously served as the CFO at Bestpass, IBT Industrial Solutions, and Poweronemedia. Additionally, John has held senior level management positions with UNUM and Ernst & Young.
John and his wife Karen reside in Brunswick, NY, and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. John enjoys all sports, particularly golf, skiing and pickleball.
