The tax-filing deadline will remain April 15, but the IRS will waive penalties and interest on tax payments for 90 days

Hope this clears up some things. You SHOULD STILL file by April 15th to get a timely refund. You SHOULD STILL file by April 15th if u want to delay ur payment for 90 days with no penalties or interest. U can ALWAYS file a 6 month extension but interest and penalties will still kick in after 90 days. 1120's for corporations were still due YESTERDAY

If you want to get your tax refund, you need to file your return. And if you owe taxes, you'll still have to pay them at some point.

As everyone starts getting w2s Lemme just give u a short list of other things you want to make sure you start getting together.
*Mandatory. **If applicable
1. Tax Payer's state or military Id's*
2. Tax Payer and Dependents SS cards or SS letters*
3. If minor dependent is not your child school or medical records**
4. Daycare payment receipt**
5. ALL W2's, 1099's, Social Security income, unemployment income.*
6. If you are self employed.....contact me to discuss your business and bookkeping requirements.**
7. New clients....IF you have a copy of your 2016 return it would help alot for me to have the ability to review it.**
8. 1098T for college and trade school students. **
9. Mortgage interest and property tax statements.**
10. Bank routing and account number for direct deposit. *
