🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Do NOT CONTACT us about transcripts , state refund searches, or wheres my refund searches. We do NOT CONTROL neither one! The more you check the longer you are delaying your refund which will be your FAULT! If you think it is not doing what you think it should call the IRS! Theres nothing we can do about any website not controlled or operated by us!

🟢1. Tax Preparers DO NOT control the "Wheres My Refund" website. When you are checking it and it is not doing as you think it should, the people to call is THE IRS, not your tax preparer because the website is owned and operated by THE IRS.

🟢2. If YOU OWE a debt and your money is reduced, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LETTER TO COME IN THE MAIL that states why your refund was taken. It takes 3 weeks for the IRS to let you know where the money was offset, MEANING, when you call the IRS, you are calling the call center and they DO NOT KNOW most times why or who took the money. The IRS employs another internal agency affiliated with the IRS to take funds. Just wait the 3 weeks for the letter to come then call complaining.

🟢3. THE TAX ADVANCE WAS NOT FREE. Once your money is released, the advance, bank fees, and your tax professional fees will come out, so please do not act like you dont know.

🟢4. If YOU OWE ANY GOVERNMENTAL debts, it will come out regardless of the amount and if it was not enough to pay your tax preparer, YOU STILL OWE THE TAX PREPARER.

🟢5. It does not matter if you and your friend filed on the same day, one person money can come before the other. Please lets be grown ups.

🟢6. FEES: If your state comes before your federal, the bank DOES NOT care, they are going to take the fees out of the state and if it is not enough, the remainder will come from the federal. So please do not go hollaring my state was stolen because it was not. If the fees are $499 and your state was $240, the bank will take the entire amount and apply it to the fees so when the federal come, the remainder will be applied to cover the fees. So in September youve spent your federal and you call back saying your state never came, yes it did, it just came first and was applied to fees making your federal amount larger.

🟢7. Lastly, some will get letters wanting them to prove identity and or letters stating the return is being reviewed. This is normal and has been going on for years. The IRS sometimes randomly pick individuals.

🏦 WHY YOUR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT IS NOT LISTED WHEN A BANK PRODUCT IS USED👇🏾

Let’s clear up the confusion because I’m seeing people panic for no reason.

When you choose a refund advance or pay-from-refund bank product, the bank information shown on your tax return is not your personal bank account. That is intentional, normal, and required.

Nothing is missing. Nothing was changed without your consent. And no one is stealing your refund.

📌 WHY THAT BANK INFORMATION IS THERE

When a bank product is used, your refund must be sent to the partner bank first.

Why? Because the refund is being used to:
💰 Repay a refund advance
💰 Pay preparation fees
💰 Process the remaining balance correctly

That’s why you see:
🏦 A bank routing number
🏦 An account number that is not yours
🏦 No personal checking or savings listed

This setup allows the bank to legally process the transaction.

🔄 HOW THAT INFORMATION GETS ON THE RETURN

That bank information is:
✔️ Automatically generated by the bank product system
✔️ Assigned specifically to your tax return
✔️ Required for refund advances and pay-from-refund options
✔️ Authorized in the bank product agreement you signed

Your preparer does not enter their own account.
Your preparer does not receive your refund.
Your preparer cannot redirect funds.

The system handles it.

✨ WHY IT STANDS OUT OR LOOKS WRONG👇🏾

Most people expect to see their own bank account on their return.

With bank products:
🏦 The refund must pass through the bank
🏦 The account is temporary
🏦 The account closes once processing is complete

Different does not mean fraudulent.
Different means structured.

🚫 WHAT THIS DOES NOT MEAN

❌ It does not mean someone altered your return
❌ It does not mean your preparer is holding your money
❌ It does not mean the IRS sent your refund to the wrong person
❌ It does not mean your refund was stolen

✅ WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS

✔️ You chose a refund advance or pay-from-refund option
✔️ The bank receives the refund first
✔️ Advances and fees are deducted
✔️ The remaining funds are released to you

📣 BOTTOM LINE

If your tax return shows bank information that is not yours and you used a bank product, that is exactly how it is supposed to appear.

Understanding this stops panic, rumors, and misinformation.

Education always wins. 💅🏽

Tax refunds and tax fee information you need to know.

If you do not have EITC or ACTC on your return, your refund is typically processed within 8 to 21 days.

If you do have EITC or ACTC, your refund will not be processed until after February 15. This is an IRS rule, not a tax office delay.

If you received a cash advance, remember this order:

The cash advance is taken off the top
Then tax prep fees are taken
You receive the remaining balance

Now let’s talk about fees coming out of your refund.

If you elected to have your fees taken out of your refund and you are also receiving a state refund, and your tax company selected for it to be deposited through a third-party tax bank, here’s what happens:

If your state refund comes before your federal, the bank will apply it to:

Your cash advance first

If no cash advance, then toward your fees

When your federal refund is released, your state and federal will be deposited together.

Important banking reminder:

If you chose to have your fees taken out of your refund, that is a bank service.

Your personal bank information is not listed on your tax return.

The third-party bank’s information is listed instead.

Your personal bank information is only on the third-party bank application.

So if you call the IRS and they say your bank account is not on the return, that is normal. No one is stealing your money.

If you paid your tax prep fees out of pocket, the third-party bank is not involved, and your refund comes directly from the IRS to your bank. In that case, make sure your bank information is correct.

One last thing about fees.

When fees are taken out of your refund, you are also paying:

The bank
The tax software company
Administrative and processing fees
Advance fees
Electronic filing

If you received a cash advance, you are also paying interest. For example, a $7,000 advance can carry fees of around $222 by itself.

Those fees do not all go to the tax pro.

Just a few friendly reminders, because I know it’s been a whole year since last

Important Notice 🚨‼️‼️‼️‼️. Tomorrow, advance loans will commence, implying that direct deposits will not be processed until Monday. If you have worked for any duration, even briefly, it is advisable to wait for your W-2 forms. The loans will remain available, and rushing to file may result in prolonged processing times. Waiting an additional week or two for your W-2 forms will ensure a smoother experience. It is crucial to file correctly to avoid delays. These loans are accessible throughout January and February. Filing an accurate return without the necessary documentation, such as your last pay stub, may lead to processing delays. It is essential to prioritize accuracy over expediency to avoid complications. Your tax preparer cannot expedite the process. Additionally, please wait for your IP PINs, as financial institutions have implemented strict regulations regarding banking transactions. If you have outstanding debts to the IRS, you may be denied, but this does not affect your potential eligibility for an in-season loan on January 15th.

If you were misled or became a victim of someone adding income or credits that never applied to you just to inflate a refund, that puts both you and the preparer at risk. That situation can be corrected. Fixing it depends on your specific circumstances, and payment is required upfront.

Solar credits
Fuel credits
Schedule H
Dividends

Using credits or income improperly can lead to audits, delayed or frozen refunds, repayment of credits, penalties and interest, and even sanctions or loss of credentials for the preparer.

Tax preparation is about accuracy, documentation, and following the rules, not inflated numbers. A correct return will always protect you more than a risky one. Integrity matters.

📚 TAX EDUCATION: ACCEPTED DOES NOT MEAN APPROVED

When the IRS “accepts” a return, it simply means:
• the return passed basic system checks
• required fields were completed
• the IRS received it

Acceptance does NOT mean:
• the refund is approved
• credits are verified
• the return is finished processing

After acceptance, the IRS still:
• verifies income
• matches W-2s and 1099s
• reviews credits
• checks dependents

This is why refunds can be delayed AFTER acceptance.

📚 LATE-NIGHT TAX EDUCATION: WHY THE IRS LETS SOME RETURNS PASS… THEN COMES BACK YEARS LATER

One of the biggest tax myths is thinking the IRS either catches mistakes immediately or never catches them at all. That’s not how it works.

When you file, the IRS isn’t deciding if your return is “perfect forever.” They’re deciding if it’s processable with the information they have at that moment. A lot of verification happens later.

Employers file corrections late.
Banks and agencies report data months later.
Patterns only make sense after multiple years.

So some returns move forward first and get watched.

That’s why people say, “It went through for years and then I got a letter.” Nothing suddenly changed. The IRS just finished connecting the dots.

Not all mistakes are treated the same. A math error is different from claiming a credit you didn’t qualify for.
A one-time issue is different from repeated behavior.

That’s also why “my preparer did it” doesn’t stop enforcement. The IRS looks at the return, not the excuse.

Here’s the real takeaway:

Your return doesn’t need to look good the day you file.
It needs to make sense later. The IRS is patient. The system remembers. Time is part of enforcement.

Returns that are accurate, consistent, and documented stay quiet. Returns that were rushed or guessed eventually get attention.

That’s the part nobody explains.🤏🏾

☕️ TAX TEA: HOW CASH ADVANCES REALLY WORK (STRAIGHT FACTS)

Let’s clear up the confusion because a lot of people are mixing opinions with facts.

A tax refund advance is a bank loan based on your tax return. It is not extra money and it is not guaranteed. Different banks have different timing, but the process always starts the same way with a complete tax return.

Before any advance is considered, your tax return has to be prepared with:
your correct personal information
all income included
all required tax forms attached

Another thing clients misunderstand is who makes decisions.

Your tax preparer does not approve advances.
The bank makes that decision.

Your preparer’s role is to prepare and submit your return correctly. The bank reviews the return details and decides if they want to lend against that refund.

If an advance is denied, it does not mean your taxes were denied. It means the bank chose not to offer the loan. Your tax return still continues through normal IRS processing.

Also important: once your tax return is submitted, going to another preparer to “try again” does not change the outcome. The return has already been filed.

The real key to a smooth cash advance season is not rushing or chasing promises. It’s having accurate information and understanding how the process works from the start.

That’s the tea.

💎 TAX GEM: THE IRS DOES NOT HOLD YOUR REFUND FOREVER THERE’S A DEADLINE MOST PEOPLE MISS

Here’s something almost nobody talks about until it’s too late.

If you’re owed a refund and you don’t file your tax return, the IRS does NOT keep that money on hold indefinitely.

You generally have 3 years from the original filing deadline to claim a refund. After that window closes, the money is forfeited. It doesn’t roll over. It doesn’t sit in an account. It becomes government property.

This happens more than people realize.

People skip filing because:
they didn’t make much money
they didn’t owe anything
they thought it wasn’t worth it
they were missing documents
they were scared to deal with it

Meanwhile, refundable credits like Earned Income Credit or Child Tax Credit can expire if you don’t file in time.

And here’s the part that surprises people.

Even if the IRS owes you, they will not chase you down to give you the money. The responsibility to file and claim it is on the taxpayer.

Once the statute closes, there is no appeal, no exception, and no reopening it later.

The real gem is this:

Not filing doesn’t protect you. Waiting doesn’t help you. And assuming “I can do it later” can cost you real money.

Quiet tax knowledge saves loud regrets.

🚨 CHECK YOUR MAILBOX 🚨

IP PIN letters are going out from the IRS I already got mine.

If you have an IP PIN and you’re planning to file early for a cash advance (Jan 2), you MUST have that number ready.

⚠️ No IP PIN = REJECTED
The bank will reject the advance if the IP PIN is missing or wrong and yes, they already know if the IRS issued you one.

👉🏾 If you’ve ever had identity theft, fraud, or opted into IP PIN protection, this applies to you.

Check your mail.
Save that letter.
Bring it to your tax appointment.

No shortcuts this season. 💰

🚨 TAX TRUTH NOBODY WARNS YOU ABOUT 🚨

Just because the IRS accepts your tax return does NOT mean it’s approved or correct.

Read that again.

📌 Accepted = the IRS received it
📌 Approved = the IRS finished reviewing it

Two very different things.

This is why some refunds:
❌ get delayed weeks later
❌ go into review AFTER acceptance
❌ get adjusted or reduced
❌ trigger letters months down the line

💡 The IRS can and DOES review returns after acceptance especially when:
• credits are involved
• dependents are claimed
• income is verified later
• bank products are used

Acceptance is just the first checkpoint, not the finish line.

📣 Tax season gem:
If someone tells you “it was accepted so you’re good,” they’re lying or they don’t know better.
