LET'S PLAY “Good News / Bad News" - QuickBooks Edition! 😁

👍 Good news first: QuickBooks will let you do almost anything!
👎 Now the bad news: QuickBooks will let you do almost anything!

Yep, QuickBooks will let you roll along month after month DIY’ing your bookkeeping - even if it’s wrong!

It won’t stop you from:

🚫 Putting expenses in wrong or varying categories
🚫 Reconciling your bank and credit card accounts incorrectly - or require you to reconcile them at all!
🚫 Mixing personal and business transactions on your financial reports
🚫 Fixing problems in a way that…causes more problems

Honestly, this happens all the time. QuickBooks assumes you know what you’re doing. 🤷‍♂️ But give yourself some grace, you’re not in business to be a QuickBooks expert, so why would you know how to handle it all?
