Hey hey!
This post is just an encouragement post to anyone out there struggling with their debt consolidation.

Please don’t be discouraged and don’t give up. I know there are things you aspire to do and have and you feel they are just outside of your grasp but stay consistent you’ll reach them before you know it.

Don’t be embarrassed in this process you’re doing a great thing also don’t worry what others think about you keep your eyes on God and watch him work in your finances but more importantly in you.

I love you all and praying for you all, you can do this!!!

Let’s call it how it is, you and your money are in a relationship. IS IT A HEALTHY ONE?

Guess what It’s ok if it’s not a healthy one right now it’s important to be honest with yourself.

A lot of us are in an unhealthy relationship & an unhealthy relationship with money is so dangerous. It will keep you in the cycle you’re trying to escape. Rather that be debt, emotional spending, possibly even a constant fear of spending or investing in good things. This is a terrible place to live BUT there is a solution!

Walk through these few steps today, don’t wait to start healing your relationship with money.

I Paid off 35k of debt now what?

I’m a faith-based financial coach. I help people achieve their heal their relationship with money obtain their financial goals, and experience lasting financial breakthroughs.

I started my financial journey in 2016 after paying off 35k. It ignited a passion in me to lead and walk alongside a group of 10 women in their financial journey. In 2020 God taught me a fundamental principle. Invite him in. It was then God began to teach me what He was calling me to do. He started to download 5 very specific principles for me to teach. He made it very clear that your financial breakthrough is more about Him than it is about money.

It’s my blessing and privilege to share those principles with you all and to walk you through the doors of freedom from your debt, God’s way!

You may think you don’t have enough money to start you journey to paying off your debt but you do!

Sometimes we think we need more money to get out of our financial rut but sometimes it’s just being honest about what’s really affecting your finances. God is your source
What does it mean to you when I say “God is your source and money is just a resource”?

What comes to your mind immediately?
Write down and evaluate it.

I will say that the root of this principle is really about finding your value, your worth, your security, your purpose, and more in God and God alone. I have seen my clients take incredible leaps in paying off debt when they allow this truth to change their perspectives. Money begins to lose it’s tight grip and they have the courage and boldness to make payments they never thought they could make. Understanding this principle allows you to rule over your money and removes its ability to rule over you.

How do I prepare for taxes as a business owner?

Starting and owning your own busieness can definitely result in some financial growing pains!
The best thing I can tell you is to separate your business finances from your personal finances IMMEDIATELY!
Start with opening at least one business checking account and one business savings account. All of the income and expenses for your business should go into the checking account. Use this account to pay yourself as well!
Now, the savings account is used for putting aside money for taxes. I recommend putting aside 30% of all of your business income for taxes, but you should double check with your tax professional.
After paying yourself and putting aside money for taxes, whatever is left in the checking account is basically what you plan to reinvest in your business. It's always a good idea to leave a couple hundred to a couple thousand doallars in your business checking, depending on what type of business you own and what your average expenses are. A good practice is to keep at least one - 3 months worth of expenses available in your business checking!

WHY CAN’T I GET OUT OF DEBT?
If you're having a hard time getting out of debt it’s because your money is no longer just a resource it has become your Source. Meaning it has become your boyfriend/girlfriend,therapist,emotional support coach,your comforter in hard times, sense of self worth etc. When it was never meant to be the source of any of those things.Next time you make a purchase out of the budget sit down be honest and ask yourself why. What was I really trying to buy here? God has to be your source so that money can be your resource.
