President Donald Trump is proposing term limits that would fundamentally reshape Congress: six years for the House, twelve for the Senate. The math is stunning — it would remove roughly 73% of the current establishment from power.

This is exactly the kind of bold structural reform that threatens the corrupt political machine. Career politicians have built empires on endless re-election cycles, trading favors with lobbyists and special interests while everyday Americans foot the bill. They'll fight this proposal with everything they've got because their power depends on it.

Term limits force accountability. They strip away the incentive to play games, cut backroom deals, and ignore the people who elected you. Fresh blood, real representation, and politicians who actually have to answer to their constituents instead of entrenching themselves for life.

The establishment will scream about constitutional concerns and parliamentary procedure. What they really mean is: we don't want to lose control. Trump's putting his foot down and asking America a direct question.
