Small business owners effected and hurting from the Coronavirus outbreak, make sure you know your options under the new Stimulus Bill. There will be things available to take advantage of ranging from payroll tax credits to government backed loans. These new loans will be available to apply for by the end of this week.

Looking for Part-Time assistance starting in 2020 for the upcoming tax season. Ideal candidate will be an accounting student or recent graduate that does have a desire to sit for the CPA Exam in the near future. It really does not matter to me if you have any work experience in the field or not. I can teach you anything you need to know, I just ask the candidate be open and receptive and have a desire to learn this field. It is starting as part time initially with hopefully a transition to full time in the future.

I am a one man show, who is reaching the point where I need to hire to help support my growing client list. I want someone who feels they have a strong interest in getting into this line of work, and could potentially grow with me if the fit is right. Coming into this type of position will be a learning curve, but if you have the right mindset, I am willing to help you grow.

The primary qualities I would look for in a candidate is "People Skills and Self-Confidence". I can teach you the technical aspect of the job, but people skills is something that can't really be taught. At this point in your life, you know how to interact and show respect to others, or you do not. Can't stress the importance of this enough. By self-confidence, I just mean self-belief. Even if you do not know anything now, you know you can and will learn it. At some point, the goal would be for this candidate to be able to speak and meet with potential clients. If you do not come off as confident in your ability and knowledge, why should they?

Initial starting pay is $15/hr. My pay structure is pretty simple. The more value you provide to my firm, the more you will make. It's up to you.

Initial responsibilities will include:

-Bookkeeping for clients primarily with Quickbooks
-Tax Write ups
-Tax Preparation (Individual & Business)
-Data Entry
-Processing payroll for clients as well as quarterly and year-end filings.

This position will not require reporting to my office location except for training and possibly a few outside special occasions. Most of this work can be done remotely. It will however require flexibility to be able to report on-site to a client location near Houston 4-5 times per month. Travel expenses and mileage will be reimbursed on top of wages.

If you have an interest, just email me your resume to "[email protected]".

I am looking to purchase small tax practitioners client lists in the Montgomery, Harris, and Walker County areas. If you are a sole tax practitioner or know someone that that has a client listing that might be looking to unload it, I’d like the chance to meet with you to see if we could reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

Most small to mid-size businesses will hire an in-house employee to serve the CFO/Controller role of their company. I can provide these same functions with more knowledge and experience across many industries for a much lower cost to your business. Not only can I most most likely do it for less wages, but outsourcing the Controller/CFO role would eliminate additional payroll tax expense incurred with an in house employee on the Employer F**A match, along with federal and state unemployment taxes. I can provide services in the areas of payroll processing and filings, tax consulting and preparation, accounting or bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and many other areas.

I am also a licensed insurance agent who can aid in analyzing your financials for areas of risk exposure and help you find the right policy to minimize that risk.

Feel free to contact me anytime if you might interest in looking into this option. I would love to meet with you to see if I could be a right fit to your business needs. I understand the importance of communication in a business relationship. i do not have off hours, my door is always open for lines of communication.
