IMPORTANT! Replace ALL plastic zip-tie style anchors which may have been included in any manufacturer supplied furniture anchoring kits with metal/stainless steel anchors approved by the CPSC. If your furniture anchoring kit is included in the recall, your metal replacement anchors will be free of charge. Zip-tie style anchors are not sufficient as a child safety anchoring device and can become brittle and break.

Another new record breaking year for Babyproofing Pittsburgh — thank you Pittsburgh (and OH and WV)!! Very thankful and appreciative to all my customers, vendors/suppliers, colleagues and contractors who have assisted with and contributed to my small enterprise’s success and growth, starting way back in December 2000. The biggest thanks goes out to my wonderful husband who created my software program that I use daily, helps me with custom mounts, breaks down the endless supply of cardboard boxes (he says he enjoys it! 🤷‍♀️) and is my measurer and driller extraordinaire during mesh pool fence season. Couldn’t have done this without his continued help and support. And heck, yes — I have a personal sense of pride for running all aspects of this business (mostly) by myself most days of the year — admin/bookkeeping, consults, scheduling, invoicing, sales/installations, ordering/inventory, tax prep, marketing (not as great with that aspect, haha)— entering into year #24.
