📈 Massive annual deficits

We were supposed to leave our children and grandchildren a country stronger, more secure and full of opportunity.
Instead, are we leaving them a country worse than we found it?
This isn’t about Republican vs. Democrat. The debt has grown under leaders of both parties.
At some point, somebody has to say:
ENOUGH.
We borrowed the future from our kids. Now we have a responsibility to protect what we leave behind. 🇺🇸

The entire Civil War cost the federal government roughly $6 billion in 1860s dollars—often cited around $2–3 billion for the Union alone.
Today, the federal government can spend roughly that kind of nominal dollar amount in less than a day. 🤯💰
