What a month it has been!
The past month has been incredibly busy, rewarding, and full of unforgettable moments. As Co-Chair of the Juneteenth Social Media Committee, I’ve had the privilege of helping share the stories, celebrations, and legacy behind some amazing events, including the 35th Annual Juneteenth Pageant, Freedom Ball, the 55th Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Parade, and A Taste of Juneteenth at Summerfest.
I’ve also had opportunities I never imagined, including being interviewed by the news and helping showcase the incredible work happening throughout our community.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our Social Media Committee members, volunteers, committee leaders, and community partners who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Thank you for your passion, commitment, and support.
This past month has been an amazing journey, but it’s only the beginning. I’m excited to continue serving, growing, and helping tell the stories that bring our community together.
