We start businesses to create freedom, and somewhere along the way, we become the busiest employee in the company.

Reminder to my fellow business owners: Just because you CAN work whenever you want doesn't mean you need to work ALL the time.

Build a business that supports the life you wanted, not one that takes it over.

๐Ÿ† EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH GOES TOโ€ฆ ME! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

After careful consideration, multiple performance reviews, and a very competitive selection process, management has decided that I am, once again, Employee of the Month.

The competition was fierce. There were no other applicants.

As a solopreneur, I wear ALL the hats.

CEO? Me.
Marketing Director? Also me.
Accounting Department? Yep, me.
Customer Service? You guessed it.
IT Department? Unfortunately, still me. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Employee of the Month perks include:
โ˜• Unlimited coffee (purchased by me).
๐Ÿ–๏ธ Unlimited PTO (I do like my trips).
๐Ÿ’ฐ A generous bonus (pending budget approvalโ€ฆby me).

All jokes aside, being a solopreneur is a wild ride. Some days you're crushing goals, making big moves, and feeling unstoppable.

Other days you're having a staff meeting with yourself, questioning management's decisions, and wondering why HR hasn't stepped in. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But at the end of the day, I'm proud of what I'm building, the entrepreneurs I get to help, and the freedom to do work I genuinely love.

Sometimes you feel unstoppable and underqualified all at the same time.

One minute, you're thinking, I've GOT this! I'm building something amazing!

The next, you're Googling something you probably should've figured out three years ago. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Welcome to business ownership!

You're the CEO, marketing department, accountant, customer service rep, IT support, and occasionally the janitor. And somehow, you're supposed to know how to do ALL of it?

Here's what I've learned after years of working with entrepreneurs...Being good at what you do and knowing how to RUN a business are two completely different skill sets. You can be incredibly talented at your service or product and still struggle with pricing, finances, contracts, operations, or figuring out what the heck you're supposed to focus on next.

That doesn't mean you're not cut out for business ownership. It means there are things you haven't learned YET. And that's exactly why business education matters.

You don't have to know everything. But you DO need to understand the pieces that keep your business running, profitable, and protected.

So, if you're feeling like a boss one day and questioning every life decision the next...Welcome to the club. You're an entrepreneur. ๐Ÿ
