When it comes to succession planning, a will plays an important role in deciding how one's assets will be distributed among his/her loved ones.

Normally properties, cash in bank, gold, shares and vehicles etc. are the items listed in a will. However, none of these items can be listed only by making a small payment. In short you can only list those items in your will for which you have paid the full price or in case of an unpaid loan on it, somebody else will have to pay the price for it.

But this is not the case in Life insurance.
It is the only investment which you can list in your will by even paying a single premium. So, it can be rightly called as the only asset where you Make your will before you make the money.
